Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream

SYMPOSIUM: Saturday, July 30, 1:00–6:00pm

Calling all citizens of Planet Earth!

Our world needs us to be awake and active now more than ever. With the old dream so entrenched, governments seemingly unable to move decisively to address the problems it creates, and business still mandated to put profit first, the world needs active citizens like all
of us. The good news is each of us is waking up, and millions of people are stepping into action together.

The Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium is an exploration of four questions:

* Where Are We? ... An examination of the state of environmental, social and personal well-being

* How did We Get Here? ... Tracing the root causes that lead to our current imbalance

* What’s Possible for the Future? ... Discovering new ways of relating with each other, with the Earth and looking at the emerging Movement for change

* Where Do We Go from Here? ... Considering the stand we want to be in the world and our personal and collective impact

Presented by volunteer facilitators trained by The Pachamama Alliance, the Symposium is a transformative educational experience that empowers participants to respond to humanity’s current situation with action and informed, grounded optimism about our future.

This half day of leading edge information combines inspiring multimedia presentations and group interaction. Participants can discover new opportunities to accelerate the emergence of an
environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, and socially just human presence on this planet.

Don't miss this free opportunity to feel connected with other change makers in local and global community and be empowered to make a difference. See trailer at http://awakeningthedreamer.org/

FREE
Please bring a vegetarian lunch dish to share after the symposium.
Site: Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, 13325 Beach Avenue, Marina del Rey 90292
