Annual 4th of July Ice Cream Social

EVENT DATE: Thursday, July 4, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
VENUE: The Learning Garden, 13000 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles 90066 (enter on Walgrove)
COST: $5.00 donation

Join your friends and neighbors at the Learning Garden at Venice High School for the ever-popular 4th of July ice cream social. This year's flavors include favorites made with garden ingredients, like Meyer lemon and chocolate mint, as well as carrot cake, vanilla, and non-dairy watermelon-mint and lemon-basil sorbets. Your donation gets you a bottomless bowl; consider providing your own cup, spoon, napkin, and bowl to help the garden reduce waste at this event. Contribute a fruit pie or cobbler and the Gardenmaster will give you a free rose bush, fig tree, or pomegranate tree!
